So the bun obviously didn't stay long.

I let loose with some of my best closet favorites, old and new. This little Louis was my very first LV and it's been with me for 8 years. When I first got it, I would wear it everywhere with pride, yet sadly with the most cringe-worthy outfits (hoodies and ripped, flared jeans were my style back in the teenage days). I probably haven't worn it in about 5 of those years as it sat on display in its retirement, but for some special reason, today was the day to take it off the shelf and out into the world for a fun spin in a mod-inspired look. These Opening Ceremony flats also came out of hiding after the shoe tailor successfully stretched them to my comfort. I put that off for about a whole year, but I feel like I just got a brand new pair of shoes! Those were some flats that I desperately hunted - and I mean scramble through every website that carried them, tried them on in an even smaller size to no avail, until I finally found them sitting at the Opening Ceremony in LA on mega-sale. Snatched them right up even if they were just a half size too small - nothing a shoe tailor can't fix. And this Jill Stuart coat is one of my prized pieces, a lucky grab off of The Outnet at like 80% off during one of its clearances. I love that I can wear this pastel yellow this season as pastels are transitioning into the Fall palette. Two thumbs up for versatility!

So yeah, this whole outfit is basically a mash-up of my closet trophies.

A new addition to my closet is this adorable and comfy Three of Something knit dress that is so Fall. It stays on my chair all the time because it's become that piece to throw on if I have to make a run to the store, after being in my jammies all day, and I want to look cute and presentable in a flash. Which is pretty much my daily life. So a thank you is definitely in order to Three of Something for saving my public rep.

BTW, I totally want to hear what some of your closet trophies are!
