Raoul brought out the kid in me; I felt like the jumping tourist, the spastic kid, the frilly girl who stops and smells the roses.  Who could not feel this way out on a great summer winter day? 

I mean, we get to start fresh and start new again - we have to patiently wait a whole 365 days for this fleeting moment. Let's not put it to waste. Happy New Year's Eve!

Sunday Funday with Fabletics

I never succumbed to the Lululemon craze, mostly because I can't justify $100 on leggings and I never work out enough to make the mileage on these investments. But here comes pretty and always toned Kate Hudson and her new partnership with JustFab for a competitive new women's activewear line, Fabletics.  This whole outfit I'm wearing is just $49.95 total. It's incredible and practically a steal because these cute baby blue capri pants are so, damn comfortable and fitted and supportive. Now I see the advantage of wearing these instead of just flimsy little gym shorts to class. And about not working out enough, now I feel more prepared than ever to just step outside and get to some stretching and "yoga-ballet". I say yoga-ballet because I attempted yoga with my sister and yet my moves transitioned to ballet techniques that feel more natural to me. I am so inspired to go back to taking ballet classes just for the fun of it. Sign me up!

Merry Christmas to you all!

This Christmas culminated into what was the most fun and thoughtful surprise I could have dreamed of, all masterminded by my extremely talented special guy. It was supposed to be a day in Malibu, but of course it was to a gullible person like me. Instead it wasn't until we were standing before a familiar door that I knew something was up. Kyle had planned an amazing afternoon at the offices of The Dreslyn for us - eating delicious bites from Joan's on Third, playing with snow, and dressing up in all sorts of beautiful clothes from Zimmerman, Theory, and many more Dreslyn picks.  It was a Christmas gift nothing short of magical and memorable.
