O'Neill x Coachella

Spending Coachella Day 1 in O'Neill.

All by O'Neill:
Look 1. Floral dress.

The first day of Coachella started a little rocky with a typically 1.5 hour roadtrip, doubled in time in bumper-to-bumper traffic. Everyone was on that same grind for an amazing weekend ahead in the desert. Nevertheless, Drake tunes kept us going and we finally arrived at our beautiful Palm Springs home and jetted to the first events of Friday.

The Popsugar x Shopstyle party was first on the itinerary and it was an intimate affair celebrating Alessandra Ambrosio's new BaubleBar jewelry collaboration. The poolside party's low-key vibes eased us into the weekend effortlessly. I interviewed Alessandra for quick tips on surviving Coachella weekend, in which I learned hats and flowing dresses, especially from her Ale by Alessandra line, are her key essentials and staying hydrated with coconut water was her secret in staying alive. Kyle and I played around in the colorful art installation at the Avalon hotel and its neon colors were giving us life for the rest of the night.

I partnered with O'Neill to showcase a couple of unique, festival-style looks with some of their newest spring and summer pieces. The pink dress I'm wearing is from their latest and greatest collaboration with famed designer Anna Sui. The partnership is unique and a bit surprising in a curious way, but Anna Sui's eclectic inspiration and bohemian cool details naturally blended into O'Neill's laidback surf culture, elevating the brand to designer status. Nighttime was already approaching, so I transitioned into a sleeved gauzy top and silky printed pants for the H&M x Coachella event at The Parker. I brought easy, lace shorts and a bikini for possible pool action (always be prepared). There I met up with my favorite blogger crowd and partied through the night to a DJ set by Haim (my girls!). Last minute efforts got us just to the festival grounds to catch legendary AC/DC; such an epic first night!

  4. Cool summery dresses! I love the pants option the best though.
