polished pink

New York, New York - a city that's been my secret affair, lusting after it and seeing it only so often. Even though I moved from NY while still very young, it still feels like coming home.  Four days of walking the streets, bracing the cold, gazing at culture and art, and feasting on cheap and splurge-y thrills made it a relaxing, detached vacation for my mind and soul, though not so much body. My Burberry trench coat was my best friend every minute being the only coat I brought that actually stood against the winds.  So you'll be seeing much of it. I can't help but have a tendency to pack dresses during trips as they are comfortable and easy to wear - but it proved quite troublesome with the weather being less than what I'm used to bare-legged. And much to my surprise, the thinnest layer of sheer tights makes the biggest difference in keeping your legs warm.

  1. I have a similar style skirt, maxi with a split, and I can't think how to style it in winter so thanks for the inspiration!
