lace of spades

I finally cut my hair yesterday after almost a YEAR. I have an obsessive fixation with my long hair that I swear will never be cut short again after many trials of regrets. I put off cutting my hair for so long because I never had a good experience with hair stylists in SoCal. Finally took to yelp and a friend's recommendation to try Heather Cha in Irvine yesterday. Let's just say, it was like finding the holy grail. So after an hour of girl talk and pumps of Morrocanoil & Kenra, my hair was transformed from dull to freakin GLAM. My length was kept long, but more layers were added for a fuller, bouncier look. Heather's a true hair artist, plus a super sweet and fun girl to talk to. pink > gloom

Per my usual habit, I put on a girly dress to brush off the gloom set over in California. Seriously what a turn for a drabby Monday - gloom after a 90 degree week and a tiny earthquake that set up the most airhead moment of the week for me.  By the way, this whole outfit from Urban Outfitters cost only $25! You know that's freakin unheard of from UO. I found the dress on sale for $20 and I scored the boots at the sample sale a couple weeks ago for just $5. I'm so glad I waited to get black boots, it was fate. This is my first thigh slit dress and I must say I'm embracing it very well. Yes I was sorely tempted to pull an 'Angelina's Right Leg' but don't worry, I had just enough will power in me.
