This Ella Moss dress is my go-to sunshine dress because it is just made to shine in the golden light, as you can see. I also secretly love that Ella Moss puts an extra liner in their maxi dresses so they're a bit heavier, but they're comfortable and they keep you warm throughout the day and night and of course, no peeking. At first I didn't care for the stripes as I saw this dress hang on the rack, but I'm so glad I tried it on with the suggestion from Kyle. The stripes actually line with the pleats, so they magically move and flow with the dress so beautifully and really elongate the body. Dress was a keeper and duly noted that my boyfriend has a good eye.

The Sseko sandals I'm wearing are ethically made by women in Uganda and your purchase supports their empowering journey towards pursuing higher education and providing for their communities. I love the simplicity and versatility of these luxe wrap sandals - I can create a minimalist wrap for softer looks or an intricate wrap for more daring days. Remember to shop responsibly!

P.S. Remember that One Dress A Day site I told you about? Check out their first dress today!! Just a preview for you guys. Can't wait until the full launch in a couple weeks!

  2. Sunshine dress indeed!
Those stripes are so unbelievably flattering and make you look so slim (as if you needed that) and tall. The muted colors are a nice change from all the eye-turning neons that summer brings. Even though the varying gray and brown shades aren't necessarily the most exciting of colors, I think they're so classy and elegant. Definitely better than being too crazy :)
I love that your Sseko sandals match your dress in terms of the stripes. Knowing that they support women in Uganda is even better. Yay for fashion and double yay for ethical fashion!
