I love venturing into thrift stores when I can, but I'm still a total newbie in the art of thrifting. I find myself lost in gigantic goodwills and frazzled to the point of just walking in and walking right back out. Rachel introduced me to this cute, little thrift store in Orange County that supports a women's shelter and this place is just full of cool, designer gems on organized racks. I've heard the housewives of Newport Coast and such donate their closet here, so you're bound to discover something amazing. That amazingness for me is embodied in this Armani denim dress circa the awesomest decade ever, which I found at the store. I knew it was a keeper and at a mere $8, it must be one of the best dress purchases of my life. It feels reminiscent of vibrant, easy-going days so I grabbed my most colorful shoes and bag and took the dress out for a spin at the Sunday flea market for another thrifted treasure hunt.
P.S. for you dress-lovers, check out One Dress a Day, a new e-commerce dress site that releases one new dress a day for you to shop! Sign up for a chance to win $500 when it launches on August 26th. I'm loving dresses getting more attention these days.
