Sweet Home

Sjobeck top. Bella Dahl skirt. Lulu*s hat (similar here). ShopLately sunglasses. Nixon watch. Angela & Roi bag. Kathryn Amberleigh boots.

There's nothing sweeter than coming back home after even just a couple of days, especially when there's the bright and shining SoCal sun to greet you. Although I couldn't complain enough about the cold in the Bay Area, it was so heartening to reunite with my best girl friends in a city that will always be a part of me. I nearly haven't been back in a year and one of my resolutions for 2014 is to visit more often. It's not until you leave that you remember how much you missed what was so great. Anyway, my little weekender trip was a perfect mix of business and pleasure and I'm so excited to be one step closer with my co-founders in our new food venture!

So the first thing I do coming back is to get into my dresses and skirts. I wore pants and the same coat all weekend long because I have a don't-give-a-damn attitude when it comes to dressing for the cold. I was so excited pulling out a tank top and skirt yesterday, but the accessories really make the outfit this time.  Indulging in my obsession with whites, I carried this sleek, minimalist crossbody bag from Angela & Roi, a brand dedicated to bringing you beautiful bags with a philanthropic and soulful purpose. As part of their "Donate by Color" mission, each color of their bags links to a different non-profit organization to which $5 of each sale is donated. The color white is significant to lung cancer awareness, so this particular bag supports the Lung Cancer Alliance. Check out the rest of their charming selection and see how you can support some great causes with your purchase!

And also these wickedly chic boots from Kathryn Amberleigh...

I figure the pictures will do all the necessary talking.
