Sedona

Back-to-back weekend roadtrips marked an incredible start to my summer adventure bucket list.

Rae Francis dress. Koolaburra sandals. Kelsi Dagger bag. Chloe + Isabel jewelry.

Kyle and I got back into our car and drove 6 hours in the opposite direction of Napa to magnificent Red Rock Country of Sedona, Arizona. Sedona was surprisingly like Carmel in the desert - extensive natural beauty, history in every building, and nothing but good wine and food to keep you happy. But the best memento from Sedona is the indescribable, phenomenal view of all the twinkling stars there are in the night sky, crystal clear to our naked eyes unmasked from the city lights we're used to. The sky looked too good to be true, like someone plastered wallpaper in front of us. It reminded me of my childhood home back in North Carolina and times when I could see the shooting stars. Another 6 hour drive into the open desert is worth just that vision alone.
