When you look serious business, you feel serious business.
Nicole Miller blazer. Le Lis top. Hudson jeans. Hare + Hart bag. Jimmy Choo pumps. Michele watch. Samantha Wills bracelet.
But dressing for serious business doesn't have to be so serious. As a creative, I'm lucky to have a little more fun with my meeting attire. Shimmering pumps and casually cropped striped shirt make this look easy to impress and easy to stay down to earth.
In other news, winter hibernation has officially left the building and I've caught the early spring cleaning fever - I've decided to set my renewed energy into cleaning and organizing my bedroom-slash-office. My home decor is the last piece of my life that I've yet to personalize, because decorative knick knacks and stylized furniture have never interested me...that is until I visited my sister's apartment in her college. She's a lot more artsy and free-spirited than me and she lives and breathes art. I was enamored with how little trinkets and fun details like string lights spruced up her space and reflected her personality to the point. I realized that my space needed more life and more of me. I'm making it a goal by year's end to revamp my space with simplistic beauty and organization. And with a little help from interior design e-retailer Lulu & Georgia, I'm already making my way towards that goal.
Lulu & Georgia is an amazing curated store full of gorgeous things to fill your home in the way your personality can shine. They're only online at the moment, but they'll be hosting a special pop-up shop in Los Angeles from January 30th-February 1st where you'll have exclusive first access to their sale. Everything from cute rugs, beautiful furniture, and chic decor will be up to 80% off! And I'm excited to help celebrate their pop-up with a VIP event on January 29th, to which you're all invited. Details for the VIP event are below. Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org, can't wait to meet you there!
