Beach Slip

Beachin' with Band of Gypsies.

Band of Gypsies dress. Jen's Pirate Booty kimono. Dogeared necklace. La Mer watch. Swedish HasBeens shoes. Finlay & Co sunglasses.

Kyle and I had a sandy date night on one of my first trips back to Laguna Beach, since the weather got warmer. After dipping our toes in the icy blue waters, we luckily found a table at Alessa Laguna, a favorite Italian restaurant of mine right by the main beach. The pastas are indulgently heavy and seating is cozy on the patio where you can hear the waves and smell the salt air. After that, we took our chances at Gelato Paradiso, a tiny little gelato "walk-through" in a charming lit alley along PCH. There's always a line of at least 20 people deep during dinner hours and it was no different this time, but we braved the wait. Personally, I think their mixed berry sorbet and homemade waffle cone are way worth it.

I love this drapey Band of Gypsies dress for its long, feminine cut and easy-to-wear print for casual and dressy date nights. The dress matches beautifully with bright gold and deep bronze accessories - a chic combination that belongs in the bold blue and white setting of the Mediterranean.
