ghd Giveaway

ghd Wonderland Styler

I couldn't be more happy with ghd making its way into my life. It's the ease I've never known that's made me so exceptionally grateful to have discovered ghd stylers for my hair. The effortless glide keeps my mornings calm and the lasting waves it creates keep me free from tedious touchups. I can say it all again but check out my first review and why I love ghd so much here.

Which brings me to say that I'm extremely happy to offer one of you the chance to have an incredible ghd Wonderland styler of your own! I absolutely LOVE the pretty iridescent colors of this new, limited edition styler, which makes it such a neat accessory to leave on your vanity or bathroom counter. Enter below to win the giveaway. A winner will be picked March 7th. Good luck and thank you for entering!

Tigerlily

Tigerlily Dress. Warby Parker sunglasses. JustFab bag. Matiko shoes.

Pool season is coming.

I've been living in this cute, relaxed dress from Tigerlily at home for a while now and it's nice to bring it outdoors to live up to its true purpose. After discovering this unique beachwear brand, I've become obsessed with stocking my swim closet with the best of prints and free-spirited styles. I can tell this summer is going to be a good one ☀

Dreamy Ivory

LAST NIGHT dress.
CRAP sunglasses. Nixon watch. Zara shoes. Samantha Wills necklace.

Fulfilling my closet essentials one piece at a time: the little white dress ✔

The Chloe Dress is super new to LAST NIGHT! I was so excited to find this little thing as you know I'm obscenely obsessed with white this season. It's such a refreshing shade that is a perfect pairing with colorful Spring accessories to come. Straight cap sleeves are something I instantly gravitate toward because it's such a universally flattering cut for the arms (read: skinny arms at any angle). But what I love most about this dress is the charming little bow in the back that sweetens up the backless reception.

Hope you all have a dreamy Sunday!

James Jeans Giveaway

James Jeans Giveaway

James Jeans denim. Motel crop top. CRAP sunglasses. Natalia Benson ring. Pink and Pepper shoes.

High waisted jeans are really the only jeans I do.

Remember when low cut jeans were all the provocative rage and it was the only style to wear during the Britney era? Tires and whale tails suddenly became it-trends. It's something I'm glad that is staying in the past while we live today in a time of denim democracy.

Coziness is my top quality when keeping a pair of jeans and I'm happy to have found James Jeans perfectly fitting the bill. Their popular Twiggy fit (I'm wearing the one in Palisades) is the ultimate skinny staple with a moderate-to-high rise that sits comfortably above the hips a bit and hugs your legs just right. You can never have too many of these in your jean drawer (read: one in every color please!). And one in every single of their Spring collection would be amazing additions: see pinstripes, pastels, and pretty soft washes.

You must definitely try them for yourselves and one of you can now because we're giving some James Jeans away! Enter below to win your very own pair and a winner will be picked on March 1st. Good luck and thanks for entering!!

Signs

Samantha Wills jewelry. Warehouse dress. Lulu*s hat. Kathryn Amberleigh boots. Nars 'Roman Holiday' lips.

Whenever I'm feeling unfocused, I turn to my horoscope for clarity. Almost always my horoscope (I get mine from this app) is so on the dot about a very specific issue currently center stage in my life. And it gives advice like a best friend would, and probably even better. While its influence should be taken lightly, I love reading my horoscope because it makes me more aware of my situation, whether I arrive at the true answer myself or as written, and with a clear mind, I can make a better judgement. Horoscopes aren't fixed fates and they should certainly be taken with a grain of salt. But, as a superstitious person, I like to go ahead and believe in something that helps me be my better and truer self.

My zodiac sign is Cancer and I strongly believe in my astrological profile because it fits the honest me, both positive and negative, and nothing gets stronger than self-awareness in achieving success and happiness in life. I'm giving much thanks to Samantha Wills for making such a beautiful, simplistic zodiac necklace that is easy and dainty enough to wear everyday with any outfit; I absolutely love having this delicate reminder of who I am and who I aim to be. And I wear the Leo necklace as a little token of the love of my life and to remember who he is and how we can continue to strengthen our relationship by recognizing our strengths and weaknesses. Astrology has a pretty significant part in my path to self-awareness, no matter how silly that may sound, and I'm happy to have these Samantha Wills zodiac pieces inspire me everyday to be the kind, nurturing, and loyal figure in my world.

Valentine's Day with Gypsy05

On me: Gypsy05 dress (get the pink here)
On Kyle: Gypsy05 hoodie, shirt, and shorts

As if a whole Valentine's Day weekend wasn't enough, Kyle and I started our V-Day early (sidenote: we basically use any holiday as an anchor for a week-long celebration) by relaxing in a little paradise over the city. And we couldn't get cozy without letting go of city style and slipping into some soft and always comfortable Gypsy05. Downtown LA never looked so good from the poolside!

Today we're heading on our way to a secret little staycation (well, a secret to me) and the checklist includes a bikini and sunscreen so I'm excited for some suntanning wherever we'll be. And wherever bikinis go, my beloved Gypsy05 dresses will go. I hope you all have a wonderful, sunny weekend surrounded with love from lovers, friends, and family!

Childish Chic

Lovers + Friends romper. Nasty Gal jacket. JustFab bag. Grey City boots. Quay sunglasses. Gorjana and Samantha Wills necklaces. Nars 'Roman Holiday' lips.

Rompers unleash the more playful and ridiculous side in me because realistically, they're really chic and all, but they're pretty childish. What's not captured (actually not published) are pics of me scaling the fence with emoji-like expressions and the only reason they are now just a memory is the unfortunate, unintentionally revealing angle from which they were taken. It was so much fun though - but, if it wasn't instagrammed, did it ever happen?

What's entirely far from childish are these fine Grey City boots that are probably the only thing in my look that confirms my grown-up credibility. Although they were so comfortable that they made scaling fences a breeze, so maybe they're guilty little instigators after all. Whatever though, they make to be beautiful criminals.
