liberty unbound


For this 4th of July, I wanted to keep a very relaxed but spirited, all-American look on this hot holiday of barbecue gatherings and fireworks gazing. So here I styled a literal interpretation of stars & stripes with my ShopSosie polka dot top and Gypsy Junkies liberty flag cutoff shorts - a perfect signature summer uniform. Love how the flag is stitched onto the denim cutoffs - completely neutral, yet totally fun enough to wear on any day besides Independence Day. Just another cool print while showing your American spirit. It was so weird that the holiday was in the middle of the week, I kept thinking Friday was actually Tuesday! But it was a nice break and I took it easy to watch fireworks right by my boo's house in South Bay. Until next year, when we should get a very nice 4 day weekend ;)
