I don't want to quit wearing these shoes! My anxiety towards red shoes has turned into enthusiasm and obsession; kind of like wanting to ride that crazy roller coaster again and again because it ended up being ridiculously fun.

This last look is a tribute to the go-to standard of spicing up an all-black outfit with blazing red heels. I wanted to stray from the vampiness and make this a wearable color palette for the day time, so I stuck to a looser silhouette and played with contrasting textures to break up the uniformed black. I'm not much of a 'skirt' person as I am dress-obsessed, but I love being able to twirl in this cool vegan leather skirt from Greylin! And I can totally make it casual with an oversized sweater for the day and play it up with a fun bustier or crop top at night. Oh, Fall is going to be so much fun, I'm already anxious.

Hopefully these looks have somewhat inspired you to break down that redshoephobia like I have! Thank you Kelsi Dagger babies for being so good to me this week. You better believe these won't be the last times you'll see these heels on the blog!

    1. I'm loving red against black! It was something I thought was too cliche but it really is a classic look. Thanks!

    1. Thank you Karina! That's what I thought too when I inadvertently put the two different textures together.

  6. An all black outfit is my go-to red shoe pairing.. it's just so classy! The red lipstick also adds a touch of sexiness without being over the top.
