#HoneyNFriends at Coachella

Not to be biased or anything, but the #HoneyNFriends x Valley High party I co-hosted with Chanelle was my most favorite party of Coachella weekend.

The shining sun, the sparkling pool, and great friends all around - essential ingredients for a super fun and successful party to be remembered. #HoneyNFriends number 2 took place during the first weekend of Coachella and I partnered with my bestest boo Chanelle to present her new clothing label Valley High.

We shared our beautiful, midcentury modern Palm Springs home with our guests, who are influencers, media, babes, greats, etc. Our party was one of the first events in the morning, serving as the Coachella pregame event for everyone to start their big Saturday. Chanelle and I woke up super early in the morning to prep our home and making sure all the snacks and treats were good to go. We supplied plenty of healthy, vegan-friendly Cabo Chips that became an endless obsession perfectly paired with red pepper hummus and yummy salsa. Their Mango Lime flavor tastes just like Doritos and their Churro flavor is just as it sounds - both indulgent without any guilt. I could finish a whole bag of Cabo Chips on my own, easy (and I've been doing so with all of the leftover bags). When it came to libations, we had so many delicious options: our friend Keisha used a few bottles of organic Ziobaffa Pinot Grigio to make her famous version of sangria which she so rightfully dubbed "Keishagria." The Keishagria was a crowd favorite and finished fast! For the bold, there was Wicked Tango Firebolt whiskey that served well with apple cider backs. We also had Vo|Co generously provide a ton of vodka coconut drinks that was a surprising treat for everyone. If you haven't tried it, it tastes exactly like coconut water - so. good. Chilled Ludlows jello shots in flavors like Old-Fashioned and Moscow Mule greeted guests at the door and almost became an entry requirement to get in. What can we say, we love our variety! Oh and all of those cute chevron cups and plates? Those are from Cheeky, which you find at your local Target.

I always like to share my favorite things with my friends, so I put together a Coachella survival kit for each of the guest to take on their way to the festival. The gift bag included a new portable bluetooth speaker from Podigy Audio that is super stylish and unique because of its built-in LED lights that play to the beat of the song. It's something you can take everywhere like the pool, a house party, or even to the desert to continue the party wherever you go. You can't beat the heat without a good, quality sunscreen, so I had to throw in one of my favorite sunscreens ever from Goldfaden MD, a dermatologist developed skincare brand built on organic and natural ingredients. I love that you can know exactly what you're putting on your skin and feel safe about it. Keratin Complex is a salon-quality haircare brand that infuses liquid keratin protein deep into the hair cuticle, eliminating frizz and curl that can become your worst pain in the dry desert heat. I love their newly launched sugar texturizing mist that is perfect for effortless bed head or beach waves at the festival, but their volumizing dry shampoo is a must during the weekend when hair washing is the least priority.

All the ladies and even the men got a ton of My Jewel Bar goodies like hand chains, earrings, and custom choker necklaces. They're one of the coolest jewelry brand newcomers because all of their offerings are completely customizable - on their website you can choose from a chain necklace or cool metal choker and pick your favorite charms to stack. And their charms aren't your typical - they're actually super cute and chic for the boho girl or edgy babe. Plus their jewelry is super affordable! Lastly, I put in these beautiful "bun pins" from Kitsch that can glam up your messy bun or lazy top knot. I adore this elegant crystal piece that'll make for a romantic hairstyle. Kitsch also makes these wonderful floral tattoos that were designed in collaboration with Free People. Some of our friends were loving them at our party and were already putting them on for their day ahead.

I really, really LOVE putting on these #HoneyNFriends parties for my blogger babes and friends. This second one at Coachella has me more inspired and motivated to continue these get-togethers to strengthen our friendships and just to make some more super fun memories. I personally love the fact that we can all let loose and have great conversations at a party without the pressure of professionally networking and engaging like most events these days. Take a peek at my past one at New York Fashion Week and stay tuned for the next #HoneyNFriends coming soon ;)

Thanks to these great friends for coming out: Jennifer, Eugenie, Joellen, Taye, Elaine, Rey, Gregory, Linh, Lisa, Tommy, Natalie, Enocha, Elizabeth, Jessica, Sheryl, An, Mai, Mayu, Emily, Amanda, Gloria and more!
