The Hero of My Wellness Routine

This post has been sponsored by Renew Life, all opinions are my own.

As a mom, my highest priority behind taking care of my family is taking care of myself. Self care is essential, because little things like drinking enough water, eating meals on time, and feeling beautiful help make sure I am the best person I can be for those who depend on me. Part of this ritual is making sure I take my Renew Life Women’s Care Probiotics every day and I’ll talk about why probiotics are such an important step in my wellness routine.
In the mornings while my husband can watch our toddler, I set aside 30 minutes to start my daily ritual. The first thing I do when I get out of bed is to stretch my body for at least five minutes. This helps to increase circulation and relieve tension to start my day with a calm state. Next, I’ll go through my morning skincare regimen, mindfully giving my skin extra TLC with a quick mask and a facial massage. I’ll meander over to our kitchen to prepare a pot of jasmine tea and to take my daily Renew Life Women’s Care Probiotic with a cup of water. Then I’ll probably steal a few bites of fruit and whole grain bread from my son and get started with mom duty.
This is the routine that I’ve followed for a while now and I’ve found that these are the steps that help me feel my best at the start of every day. But, I have to point out that no two days are ever the same. There are plenty of mornings when I wake up and I immediately jump out of bed to play with my son or calm an outburst and on these kinds of mornings, my whole routine is out of sorts and I’m finding myself frazzled and forgetting to take a shower or eat lunch. When it feels nearly impossible to do the things I want to get done with a toddler at my feet, I’ll focus on the most important step in making sure I’m functioning as close to super mom as I can be and that is to never go a day without taking my probiotics.
Probiotics are beneficial live bacteria that support digestive and immune health. Here’s an interesting factoid: 70% of our immune system is located in our gut. You can get beneficial bacteria from eating a variety of fermented foods like yogurt, sauerkraut, apple cider vinegar, kimchi, and kombucha (I have my fridge fully stocked with these!), but it is difficult to get all of the probiotics you need just from diet alone, so including a supplement is highly recommended. I am a big fan of Renew Life because their probiotic supplements are high quality and potent through the expiration date and they are completely transparent in listing the strains in their diverse formulas, so you can do your own research and choose which formulation would be best for your unique needs. Their supplements are backed by clinical research, so Renew Life is a brand that I can trust. Renew Life Women’s Care Probiotic is a great supplement designed to support a woman’s digestive balance, healthy immune system, and vaginal health and it’s just one easy pill a day that can be taken on an empty or full stomach. I am a huge proponent of probiotics and I make sure that all of my family are taking them, including my toddler. I believe that a well-balanced microbiome is one of the keys to optimal wellness!
